Hazing is prohibited at Broward College in all forms. Any initiation activity that involves harassment, coercion, or harm is not allowed and can lead to disciplinary action by the college and potential legal consequences. This applies to all students and student organizations, including clubs and teams, regardless of who approves or supervises—consent or oversight does not make hazing acceptable. The policy covers a wide range of harmful behaviors, from verbal abuse and humiliation to forced tasks or dangerous activities, and the consequences can include suspension, expulsion, or other sanctions.
